- Chrysocolla is a relatively soft stone. Store it separately in a well-padded pouch. We recommend removing your jewellery before any physical activity.
- Due to its porosity and composition, chrysocolla should not get wet. Clean it using a dry method or a barely damp cloth.

Tumbled stones are pieces of raw mineral that have been carefully shaped by human hands.
This is a mechanical process during which the raw stones are polished.
The minerals are usually placed in a rotating drum containing water and an abrasive. This process takes around ten days.
As the stones rub against one another, they become polished into pebble-like shapes.

Chrysocolla:
The name chrysocolla comes from the Greek ‘chrysos’, meaning ‘gold’, and ‘kolla’, meaning ‘glue’.
This name refers to the ancient use of chrysocolla as a soldering material in goldsmithing.
Chrysocolla is a gemstone that comes in a variety of colours, ranging from blue-green to turquoise green.
Chrysocolla is a mineral associated with copper and has a complex chemical composition, including copper oxides and silicates.
It is, in fact, the copper that gives it its colour.
Rarely found in its pure form, it often contains malachite or azurite. Very blue specimens can be mistaken for turquoise.
The main deposits of chrysocolla are found in Chile, Peru, the United States, Russia, Israel and the Republic of the Congo.
