- Its hardness makes it fairly durable, but do take care to protect your aventurine from knocks. We recommend that you remove your jewellery before taking part in any physical activity
- Aventurine is not sensitive to water. However, it is best not to wear your stone at the beach or in the swimming pool

Its name comes from the Italian ‘a ventura’, which means ‘by chance’ or ‘by accident’, as it resembles aventurine glass. It is said to have been discovered by accident when copper filings fell into molten glass, creating glass with a glittering effect. This discovery is said to have taken place in Murano, where the Miotti family of glassmakers kept the manufacturing secret for a long time.
Green aventurine is a variety of microcrystalline quartz; it often contains inclusions of fuchsite, haematite or mica, which give it a slightly shimmering appearance, similar to that of aventurine glass. This shimmering effect is known as aventurescence. The main deposits of aventurine are found in Brazil, China, India and France.
In crystal healing, aventurine is regarded as a stone of harmony and balance, bringing calm to those who are nervous or restless. It is said to help regulate and heal one’s emotions by fostering self-compassion, enabling a better understanding of the root causes of one’s emotional wounds. It is also said to encourage acceptance of the present situation and letting go, helping one to achieve a state of inner calm conducive to decision-making. Which wrist should I wear the bracelet on?
The wrist on which you wear your bracelet depends on your intention: the left side receives energy, while the right side projects it. Wearing the bracelet on your left wrist is believed to help relieve stress, encourage receptiveness and open the heart. Which other stones can I combine with green aventurine?

Is this bracelet water-resistant?
Although green aventurine itself is not sensitive to water, we recommend removing your bracelet before showering or swimming in a pool or the sea. Chemicals such as soap, perfume and chlorine, as well as salt, may gradually dull the stones and damage the silicone elastic cord we use.
Is the elastic cord durable? What should I do if it breaks?
We use a high-quality, highly durable silicone elastic cord specifically designed for jewellery making. However, it may break or stretch if subjected to excessive pressure. The cord is guaranteed against breakage for one year. If it breaks or becomes stretched, contact us and we will repair it.

Fine, delicate and a soft green, these 6mm beads add a touch of freshness to your wrist. This bead size is ideal for wearing jewellery in layers. It pairs beautifully, both visually and energetically, with rose quartz, which is full of gentleness and tenderness. Pairing it with green jade or citrine is said to bring good luck and abundance!
As the 6mm beads are small, you can choose the size of your bracelet based on your usual wrist size. We recommend 18cm for an average woman’s wrist; our 21cm model is suitable for a slightly larger wrist and is also the standard size for men.
