Tumbled stones:

Our collection of tumbled stones includes a wide variety of minerals. Each offers a unique range of colours, patterns and textures that reflect the Earth’s mineral diversity.

Tumbled stones are pieces of raw minerals that have been carefully shaped by human hands.

This is a mechanical process in which the raw stones are polished.

The minerals are usually placed in a rotating drum containing water and an abrasive. This process takes around ten days.

As the stones rub against one another, they become polished into pebble-like shapes.

Whether for meditation, interior decoration or to expand your mineral collection, you’re sure to find something to your liking in our online shop.

Lepidolite:

The name lepidolite derives from the Greek ‘lepis’, meaning ‘scale’, in reference to its structure of thin, flat layers.

Lepidolite is a variety of mica characterised by its pink, lilac or violet colour. Its colour is due to the presence of manganese and iron.

It forms in pegmatite deposits, often in association with other minerals such as quartz and feldspar.

Lepidolite is rarely cut as a gemstone due to its relative fragility and its tendency to flake into thin sheets.

The main deposits of lepidolite are found in Brazil, Madagascar, the United States, Canada, Russia and Zimbabwe.
