Tumbled stones:
Our collection of tumbled stones includes a wide variety of minerals. Each offers a unique palette of colours, patterns and textures that reflect the Earth’s mineral diversity.
Tumbled stones are pieces of raw minerals that have been carefully shaped by human hands.
This involves a mechanical process in which the raw stones are polished.
The minerals are usually placed in a rotating drum containing water and an abrasive. This process takes around ten days.
As the stones rub against one another, they become polished into pebble-like shapes.
Whether for meditation, interior decoration or to expand your mineral collection, you’re sure to find something to your liking in our online shop.
Ametrine:
Ametrine is a variety of quartz resulting from the natural combination of amethyst and citrine. Its name reflects its composition.
It therefore offers a colour palette ranging from purple to yellow.
Ametrine forms under specific geological conditions in the same deposits as amethyst and citrine.
Variations in temperature and pressure are responsible for its colouration.
The finest specimens come from mines in Bolivia. The locals refer to ametrine as ‘Bolivianita’.
The main ametrine deposits are found in Bolivia, Brazil and Uruguay.
